Mumbai: The Azad Maidan police on Wednesday arrested six accused for allegedly abducting the father of a labour contractor, taking the victim to Dadar in a car, and demanding Rs 10 lakh to settle a dispute. Police said that Vijay Pandurang More (40), lodged an FIR with the police. More stated that 17 labourers working in the complainant’s company had stopped work due to minor reasons. The man was rescued and reunited with his family. tnn
