Best Memes from RR vs CSK, Match 11 – Funniest Reactions & Trolls

Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by six runs in a pulsating Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 encounter at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday, March 30.

Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and invited the Royals to bat first on what looked like a decent surface. The home side got off to a fantastic start as Yashasvi Jaiswal hit a boundary off the first ball from Khaleel Ahmed. However, the southpaw was out two balls later. Nitish Rana came out to bat at No. 3 and looked in imperious touch.

He raced to a half-century off just 21 balls as the Royals posted 79/1 at the end of the powerplay. Sanju Samson got himself off to a start but could not capitalise on it. He was dismissed by the in-form Noor Ahmed for a 16-ball 20. Rana continued his rampage, amassing 81 off just 36 balls with the help of 10 fours and five sixes. He was eventually stumped by MS Dhoni after Ravichandran Ashwin saw him coming down the track and pushed it wide. The former India captain took the bails off after Rana missed the ball altogether.

Riyan Parag played a handy knock of 37 off 28 but failed to provide the final push at the backend of the innings. Shimron Hetmyer also struggled to time the big hits and perished for 19. In the first 12 overs, RR made 129/3. However, they could only manage 53/6 in the final eight to finish at 182/9 at the end of 20 overs. Noor, Khaleel, and Matheesha Pathirana bagged two wickets apiece for the away side. Meanwhile, Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with a wicket apiece.

In the second innings, Jofra Archer gave Rajasthan the ideal start as he dismissed the in-form Rachin Ravindra and bowled a maiden in the first over. Rahul Tripathi tried to battle it out in the middle and get some runs under his belt. However, Wanindu Hasaranga ended his stay at the crease after he had made 23 off 19 balls.

Shivam Dube looked good during his brief stay at the crease but a brilliant catch from Parag, off Hasaranga’s bowling, sent him packing. Vijay Shankar also departed cheaply as the onus was on the set Gaikwad to take his team home. However, Hasaranga struck once again to dismiss the CSK skipper, who made 63 off 44 balls. The Sri Lankan spinner finished his spell with figures of 4/35 in four overs.

Dhoni walked in at No. 7 to join Jadeja in the middle with CSK needing 54 off 25. The CSK fans were waiting for Dhoni to set the stage on fire with Jadeja for company. The former India captain hit a couple of boundaries as CSK needed 20 off the last over.

Sandeep Sharma started the over by bowling a wide. However, he didn’t let the pressure get to him as he dismissed Dhoni off the first legitimate ball of the over as Hetmyer took a fine diving catch at deep mid-wicket to send the stalwart back to the hut. In the end, CSK finished on 176/6 in their 20 overs.
