New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation informed a Delhi court on Monday that former Jawaharlal Nehru University student Najeeb Ahmed, who went missing on Oct 15, 2016, refused his medical examination during his visit to Safdarjung Hospital. The investigating officer told the court of additional chief judicial magistrate Jyoti Maheswari that the statement of the doctor or medical attendant at Safdarjung Hospital was not taken because no document pertaining to the deceased’s visit to Safdarjung Hospital was available. The probe agency made the submission while arguing on its closure report and a protest plea filed against it by Ahmed’s mother, Fatima Nafees. TNN
