MUMBAI: The Central Railway divisional railway manager office announced on Sunday that the megablocks previously planned for Sunday for Main and Harbour lines have been cancelled.
This will bring relief to several commuters who will be travelling by local trains today.
The Central Railway has announced a day earlier mega block today to undertake essential maintenance work.
The block will be implemented at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Vidyavihar stations on the Up and Down Slow Line, and between Kurla and Vashi on the Harbour Line. If implemented, this could have inconvenienced several commuters.
