The IPL 2025 is just a few days away and the teams are in the final stages of their preparations. Delhi Capitals have built a new team and will be aiming for a change in fortunes this year.
The Capitals are yet to win a trophy and are one of the few teams who are yet to win an IPL title since its inception. Delhi Capitals will be led by the allrounder Axar Patel, who has grown in stature in both franchise and international cricket.
Axar will be complemented by his deputy Faf du Plessis, who will be the team’s vice-captain this year. Apart from these two players, DC also have KL Rahul, who has an excellent IPL record and will be looking to build on his immense consistency.
Delhi Capitals will play their home games in two stadiums just like the last season. Apart from the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the Capitals will also play their initial games at ACA–VDCA Stadium at Vizag.
