District Magistrate Parth Gupta has imposed a ban on flying drones over the area where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in Yamunanagar on April 14.
Besides, entry of heavy vehicles will be banned in Yamunanagar and Jagadhri cities from 7 pm on April 13 to 7 pm on April 14.
Similarly, there will be a ban on vehicle parking within a radius of 200 metres on both sides of the PM route.
Talking about security arrangements, District Magistrate Parth Gupta has declared the rally area of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a red zone under the Drone Rule 2021.
Therefore, under Section 163 of BNS, there will be a complete ban on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally at Kail village of Yamunanagar district on the occasion of Dr BR Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14.
He will also lay the foundation stone of a new 800 MW unit of DeenBandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant here on the occasion.
“Flying drones and unmanned aerial vehicles have been banned. This ban will remain in place four hours before the arrival of the Prime Minister and two hours after the departure of the Prime Minister,” reads the order of the District Magistrate.
He has also issued orders to the police and security agencies to take strict action against those who disobeyed the orders.
District Magistrate Parth Gupta said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and VVIP people would participate in the programme.
“It is necessary to maintain a smooth traffic system on the VVIP route during the programme. Therefore, entry of heavy vehicles will be banned in Yamunanagar and Jagadhri cities from 7 pm on April 13 to 7 pm on April 14. For this, orders have been issued under section 163 of BNS,” said Gupta.
“There will also be a ban on carrying weapons like sticks, batons, iron rods, swords, knives and any other kind of weapons within a radius of 200 metres of this route,” said the District Magistrate.
He said that any kind of demonstration or dharna would be banned within a radius of 500 metrres on both sides of the Prime Minister’s programme and the route.
