Gujarat Board clarifies fake GUJCET result date, issues official updates: Check the complete notice here

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has issued an official clarification debunking a fake press release circulating online that falsely claimed the GSEB Class 12 Science stream results and GUJCET 2025 results would be declared on April 17, 2025 at 9 AM. The board confirmed that no such announcement has been made and that the authentic result date will be published only on the official website, gseb.org.

GUJCET 2025 result: Official statement

The GSEB categorically stated: “No such press release has been issued by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar. It is hereby notified that this press release is fake.” Students and parents are urged to avoid relying on unofficial sources, including websites that have previously posted unverified dates. Notably, one such unofficial portal claimed that GUJCET 2025 results would be released on April 9 at 10 AM, a date that also turned out to be baseless.
The complete notice issued by GSEB refuting the result date claims can be read here.

GUJCET 2025 result: Past trends and updates

While the official result dates are still pending, trends from previous years indicate that the GSEB HSC Science stream results and GUJCET scores are typically released by the last week of April. Students are advised to keep an eye on the board’s official portals, gseb.org and gsebeservice.com, for verified updates.
The results of the Class 12 Science stream and the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) are crucial for students aspiring to pursue engineering in the state. As per the existing admission policy, Class 12 board marks carry 50% weightage, while GUJCET scores account for the remaining 50% during the merit-based admission process in government, government-aided, and unaided engineering colleges across Gujarat.
