New Delhi: As the process for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) elections gained momentum, a total of 165 nominations were filed on Tuesday for the central panel posts. According to chief election officer, 48 candidates filed nominations for the post of president, 41 for vice president, 42 for general secretary, and 34 for joint secretary. Additionally, 250 nominations were received for the post of school councillor.
The final list of candidates is expected after scrutiny of nominations. JNUSU elections will be held on April 25. The result will be declared the day after. TNN
