Thane: The Thane Police have launched a probe into a cyber fraud case where a 42-year-old manager from a Mumbai-based pharmacy company lost Rs 82 lakh to fraudsters who exploited his trust through a fake cryptocurrency investment scam. The true nature of the scam became apparent when he attempted to withdraw his money and was instead asked to deposit additional funds.
