Mumbai: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested a private person who accepted a bribe of Rs 6,000 on behalf of a BMC health officer of B ward and booked both of them under the prevention of corruption act. The ACB arrested Govind Ghawat and booked health officer Dr Reshma Sable under the prevention of corruption act. The complainant was allegedly directed to meet Dr. Sable. During the meeting, Ghawat reportedly demanded a bribe of Rs 6,000 to facilitate the removal of the restaurant’s “not to renew” status. tnn
