Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Riyan Parag, Nitish Rana, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Wanindu Hasaranga

Rajasthan Royals‘ middle order has been out of form in the last couple of matches, with the likes of Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, and Wanindu Hasranga unable to contribute to the team’s run-scoring chart, which came to haunt them against RCB.

Riyan Parag, who was the captain of RR for the first three matches, is finding it hard to score runs after coming good in the initial few matches, and has leaked runs in the field as well, despite being considered a safe fielder.

Dhruv Jurel, who showed a glimpse of form at the start of the tournament with a half-century against SRH., has failed to make a significant contribution as the tournament has progressed while batting at a crucial position in the middle order for RR.

Bowlers: Sandeep Sharma, Jofra Archer Maheesh Theekshana, Yudhveer Singh Charak, Kumar Kartikeya

Like the team’s batting, RR will be disappointed with the form of their bowlers. Jofra Archer, who has made a solid comeback after going for runs in the first match, has been the only shining light as far as the fast bowling department is concerned and has picked up crucial wickets in the first six overs for the Rajasthan Royals.

Sandeep Sharma, who is one of the most experienced bowlers in the lineup, has failed to live up to expectations after delivering decent performances in the initial few matches. The fast bowler has struggled to bowl in the right areas on different kinds of pitches

As far as the Rajasthan Royals’ spin bowling department is concerned, comprising experienced international names like Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana, both of whom have been ineffective with the new ball and in the middle over, as a result, the inaugural champions have failed to restrict the opposition.
