Young RCB batter Swastik Chikara is having a great time with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League. The youngster is enjoying his time and even had fun with the veteran cricketer in the team, Virat Kohli.
Swastik decided to have some fun with Kohli, which caught everyone in the RCB camp by surprise. However, Virat Kohli took it in a light way, and the fun continued. Chikara’s antics made everyone laugh in the dressing room.

Swastik Chikara’s fun moment with Virat Kohli at RCB
In a video uploaded by Royal Challengers Bengaluru on their social media handle, the players and the coaching staff chilled on the team’s off day. Left-arm quick Yash Dayal revealed the incident when Swastik Chikara decided to have fun with Virat Kohli.
Dayal opened up about the incident when Swasatik took out Kohli’s perfume from his bag and started using it without even bothering to ask. Kohli was also sitting there and it had everyone laughing.
“We were all sitting in the dressing room after our last game in Kolkata. So, we were all sitting, he went and without even asking, took out the perfume from Virat (Kohli) bhai’s bag and used it. Everyone started laughing. He didn’t even ask anything, he (Kohli) was sitting like this (he shows),” Dayal said.
“Skipper Rajat Patidar, who was also there, was shocked to see the antics. “Virat bhai was there, I was wondering what this guy is doing,” Patidar wondered.
How did Virat Kohli react to it?
Swastik Chikara himself revealed the reason behind his antics. He claims to be just checking the perfume in order to ensure whether it’s good or bad. After closely following this moment, Kohli also asked Chikara if it’s good.
“He (Virat Kohli) is our elder brother, isn’t he! So, I was just checking whether it is good or bad. I was just ensuring that he doesn’t use the bad one. So, I tried it and then he asked about the perfume. I said it’s nice, I was only checking to let you know whether it’s good or bad,” Chikara said.

It was a hilarious moment in a dressing room that had begun its IPL 2025 season with a resounding win. The fact that the win came away from home against their old rivals, makes it even more special.
RCB thrash KKR in season opener
RCB defeated KKR by 7 wickets in the IPL 2025 opener in a one-side encounter at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Virat Kohli played a key role in the win as he remained unbeaten on 59 off just 36 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes.
His opening partner Phil Salt also scored a crucial 56 off 31 balls. Skipper Rajat Patidar played a late cameo as RCB chased down the target in just 16.2 overs. Earlier, the bowlers had done a good job restricting the Knight Riders to 174-8 on a good batting pitch.
Left-arm spinner Krunal Pandya picked up three wickets while fast bowler Josh Hazlewood finished with fantastic figures of 2-22 in four overs. Krunal was also adjudged the Player of the Match for his performance.
