New Delhi: Chief minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday said that her govt was taking all necessary steps to improve the quality of health services in the city and to provide services that prioritise patient safety.
Gupta was speaking at CAHOCON 2025 International Conference, organised by the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations of Delhi as the chief guest.
“Delhi govt is committed to providing better health services. Good health is not just a treatment of disease, but a balance of society, mind, body and soul,” she said.
Taking credit for implementing the ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme in the capital, Gupta said the health sector had been given top priority in the budget for 2025-26 financial year and allocated Rs. 12,893 crore.
“It is our commitment that no citizen in Delhi should suffer due to lack of treatment.” tnn
