Thane: Panic spread in the area after the body of an unidentified person was discovered in the Parsik-Retibunder creek in Kalwa. The police said they received a call about a floating body found at the ghat. Accordingly, the body was fished out. The police said the age of the deceased seems to be around 40 years. They have sent the body to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital via ambulance for further procedures. The police are currently working to establish the identity of the deceased. An accidental death report was filed at Kalwa police, and a further probe is underway. tnn
