A woman and three children were fatally shot on Thursday in Pembroke Park, Florida, while two others were taken to a hospital, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 8 pm (local time), Michael Kane, the Broward Sheriff’s Office fire rescue battalion chief, told the South Florida Sun Sentinel. An adult male and a young girl were transported to a hospital, though their conditions remain unclear.
Evan Ross, a spokesperson for Pembroke Park Police, described the incident as a domestic situation, according to the report.
Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or any potential suspects. Investigations are ongoing as law enforcement works to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
