Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Tim David played a prank on star cricketer Virat Kohli following the game against Rajasthan Royals. The prank created laughter and a light-hearted moment inside the RCB dressing room as David tried to pull Virat’s leg by hiding his bat.
Upon reaching the dressing room, the Delhi-born noticed that his bat was missing from the kitbag, and he started inquiring around to check if he had seen anyone with this bat. The ace batter was annoyed and knew that someone had “stolen” his bat from the kitbag when he was not around. David, who knew where the bats were, kept on enjoying the show.
“I want to see how long it will take Virat to realise we have taken one of his bats,” David said in the video released by RCB while pranking the legendary opening batter.
“I counted my bats yesterday; it was seven. It’s six now,” Virat said on finding out one of his seven bats was missing from the kitbag.
“I didn’t take it; I borrowed it,” the Aussie cricketer said on being revealed as the culprit in the end.

Virat’s yet another successful run chase
Speaking of Virat’s innings in the last game, he scored a wonderful half-century to get his side over the line in the end. Kohli, though, had a bit of a sluggish start to his innings. He ended up scoring 62* off just 45 deliveries in the end. His innings included four boundaries and two maximums.
This was the former RCB skipper’s 100th half-century in T20 cricket, making him the first Asian cricketer to reach the landmark and also the batter with the second most half-centuries in T20 cricket after David Warner, who is currently leading with 108 half-centuries in the format.
