The 28th match of the 2025 IPL is currently underway in Jaipur, featuring a clash between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Batting first, RR posted a total of 173 runs for the loss of four wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The opener Yashasvi Jaiswal led from the front, scoring a commanding 75 off 47 deliveries with the help of ten boundaries and two sixes. The left-hander displayed tremendous form throughout the innings.
In the 16th over of the first innings, RCB pacer Josh Hazlewood returned to bowl his third over. On the very first delivery, the Australian pitched the ball full and angled it across outside off. Jaiswal got across the stumps and almost down on the floor to scoop him over fine leg for a stunning six. The shot was a spectacle, with remarkable elevation despite the batter being off-balance.
As the innings concluded, RR had put up a competitive total of 173 thanks to the late fireworks from Dhruv Jurel, who scored 35 off 23. In the RCB bowling, the left-arm spinner Krunal Pandya was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up the wicket of Sanju Samson and conceded only 29 runs in his quota.
In response, RCB openers Virat Kohli and Phil Salt began the chase in style. The English batter aggressive from the start, scoring 65 off 33, including five fours and six sixes while Kohli played the anchor role.
